Zack Brown (opens in a new tab) designed the language and built the first versions of the compiler and runtimes during an independent research sabbatical from late 2021 to early 2023.
Warfa Jibril (opens in a new tab) joined & elevated the effort full-time in early 2023. Samuel Selleck (opens in a new tab) joined in December 2023. Pax's full-time development is now funded by a commercial entity, PaxCorp Inc.
